For us, tested quality right from the production stage means, when choosing our partners in Asia, that we only select companies that produce according to German safety standards and with German manufacturing technology.

All of our pyrotechnic items are CE approved. The Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) is a scientific and technical federal authority that regularly carries out intensive controls of the NICO quality assurance system in Germany and the Far East.

The high standards guarantee both us and our customers transparency, security and traceability of the products and their production methods. In order to be able to guarantee the quality standards of our products, we also train our employees and, if requested, also our customers. For more than a century, NICO has stood for high-quality, safe and innovative fireworks. Today, we are one of the leading suppliers of fireworks and pyrotechnics. All pyrotechnic articles from NICO are CE-certified. NICO's quality assurance and testing consists of a multi-stage system. It starts with our suppliers directly at the production sites in China. There, our team carries out tests before and after production. Only items that pass all specifications and tests and also meet NICO's high quality standards are exported. Everyone in our QA team has many years of experience in the fireworks business.

To guarantee this, we opened our own office with NICO employees in Liuyang in 2016. Our local presence enables us to develop new products more quickly and drive innovation forward.
In addition, our colleagues at the NICO CHINA OFFICE carry out the initial checks and quality assurance on site. Our team on site directly inspects NICO products during and after manufacture. Specified test parameters are examined directly on site in order to document any deviations from the approval and to detect manufacturing defects. This ensures that defective items do not reach the European market in the first place.
