1. General Functions NICO Shop

Login for Dealers & Pyrotechnicians

1. Open www.nico-europe.com in your browser.
2. Already a NICO customer? (Dealer or Pyrotechnician) – then your email address is already stored in the shop.
3. Click the “person” icon at the top right and then “Login”.
4. On the left, under “I am already a customer”, enter your email address and password.
5. Welcome to the NICO Shop! You can start ordering right away. Your personal price list is already stored.

Note: Products in the “Professional Fireworks” section are only accessible to pyrotechnicians with the corresponding license.

Forgot your password?

1. On the left, click “I forgot my password”.
2. You will be redirected to “Password Recovery”.
3. Enter your email address and click “Request email”.
4. Within a few minutes, you will receive an email (please also check your spam folder).
5. Click the link in the email and set your personal password.

New customer?

1. Open www.nico-europe.com in your browser.
2. Click the “person” icon at the top right and then “Login” or “Register”.
3. On the right, under “I am a new customer!”, enter your registration data. If necessary, upload the required documents (you can also upload them later in your account).
4. Click “Next” at the bottom. Within a few minutes, you will receive an email (please also check your spam folder).
5. Click the link in the email to complete your registration.
6. Welcome to the NICO Shop! You can start ordering right away.

2. Detailed information about the articles

Clicking on the product image opens a larger image and detailed information (burn time, content per unit, availability, EAN code, product description, etc.).

Availability indicator

• Green light: Item in stock
• Yellow light: Not in stock, but incoming
• Red light: Currently out of stock

Filter options

Use filters to narrow the selection. Click the desired category and choose a suitable filter.

Product search

Use the central top search bar to search by keywords, item numbers, product names, or functions.

Compare

Add items to the “comparison list” for direct comparison. You’ll find it via the arrows icon at the bottom left of the page.

Wishlist

For your favorites—click the heart icon on a product to add it to your wishlist.

3. how do I find a specific item? - The search function! 

The search function is located at the top centre of the page. Here you have the option of searching directly for an article number. If you are looking for a specific product group, e.g. rockets, simply enter the term [rocket] in the search field. You will then see all product groups containing rockets (loose rockets, rockets in bags, etc.). However, you can also search directly for article descriptions, colours, etc.

All products are manufactured according to European quality and safety standards. All pyrotechnic articles are CE approved and are subject to regular and intensive quality control. However, should there ever be a problem with one of our products, you are of course entitled to a return or exchange guarantee!

6. security  

We treat the data that you entrust to us as a customer with the utmost care. We value the trust you place in us. Every data transmission is carried out using state-of-the-art encryption technology. We use the secure ‘Secure Socket Layer’ SSL procedure with which data is transmitted to us in a 128-bit key. You can recognise secure transmission by the fact that an ‘s’ is added to the URL. For example, if you transfer payment data, the URL will always be supplemented by an ‘s’; the URL will then be ‘https://’.

7. dispatch 

Our top priority is your satisfaction. That is why we attach particular importance to excellent service, which we realise through fast and uncomplicated delivery. Together with our associated service companies, we do everything we can to ensure that you receive the goods you have ordered as quickly and conveniently as possible. Please provide a telephone number when placing your order so that we can notify you of the delivery. The items can also be collected from us at any time. When the goods have been collected by the carrier, you will receive an e-mail notification with a link to track the consignment.  

If your order includes goods whose sale is subject to age restrictions, we use a reliable procedure involving a personal identity and age check to ensure that the customer has reached the required minimum age. The deliverer will only hand over the goods after an age check has been carried out and only to the customer

8. Delivery time

If your order is received by 12:00 noon, we will dispatch your goods on the day of your order (this applies only to Category F1 items). Please note that we can only ship to private individuals once any necessary official authorisations (exemption) have been obtained. There is no requirement for category 1 and class-free items. For category 2 items, an exemption authorisation is required For T1 items, a signed proof of use.

The goods will arrive within 3-7 working days of dispatch. Please provide a telephone number with your order so that we can notify you of the delivery. As these are hazardous goods, transport may take longer in individual cases. 

Please also note the availability display field: ‘green dot’ means the item is immediately available, ‘orange dot’ means the item is currently out of stock, but available again soon, ‘red dot’ means the item is currently sold out.

9. shipping costs

The shipping costs for fireworks are higher than for ‘normal goods’, as these are dangerous goods and therefore place special demands on the logistics chain. 

Shipping costs overview Germany

Within Germany (mainland only, island delivery on request) the following shipping costs apply:

End consumer (all prices incl. VAT) 

• Transport group ‘no dangerous goods’:
  From 200 € free shipping, without minimum quantity surcharge. From 100 € 7.95 € shipping costs apply, without minimum quantity surcharge. For order values under 100 €, transport costs of 7.95 € and an additional 4.95 € minimum quantity surcharge apply. 
• Transport group 1.4S:
  From 200 € free shipping, without minimum quantity surcharge. From 100 €, shipping costs of 7.95 € apply, without minimum quantity surcharge. For order values under 100 €, shipping costs of 7.95 € and an additional 4.95 € minimum quantity surcharge apply.
• Transport group 1.4G:
  Free shipping from 750 €, on order values from 300 € that are less than 750 € we charge 41.65 € transport costs and on order values less than 300 € we charge 41.65 € transport costs and an additional 11.90 € for packaging costs (hazardous goods boxes). 
• Only advertising material/merchandise:
  Free shipping from 200 €, up to 200 € we charge 4.95 € transport costs.

• Transport group ‘no dangerous goods’:
  Free shipping from 500 €, on order values from 100 € that are less than 500 € we charge 5 € transport costs and on order values less than 100 € we charge 5 € transport costs and an additional 5 € minimum quantity surcharge. 
• Transport group 1.4S:
  From 500 € free shipping, on order values from 100 € which are less than 500 € we charge 15 € transport costs and on order values less than 100 € we charge 15 € transport costs plus 5 € minimum quantity surcharge. 
• Transport group 1.4G:
  Free shipping from 1000 €, on order values from 100 € that are less than 1000 € we charge 50 € transport costs and on order values less than 100 € we charge 50 € transport costs and an additional 10 € for packaging costs (hazardous goods boxes). 
• Transport group 1.3G and 1.1G:
  Free shipping from 3800 €, between 1700 € and 3800 € we charge transport costs of 15% of the order value and up to 1700 € transport costs of 200 €. Packaging costs do not apply. Applies only to items currently in stock. 
• Only advertising material/merchandise:
  Free shipping from 500 € up to 500 € we charge 4.95 € transport costs.

10. payment

You can pay conveniently in the following ways:

Payment by credit card: 
Here you can choose from the leading credit card providers (American Express, MasterCard, Visa). Simply enter the credit card number, the card's expiry date and the credit card company. Your card details are transferred via a secure SSL connection. We do not store any credit card details. This prevents misuse. You can also give us your card details by telephone. The amount will then be automatically charged to your credit card account within 4 weeks. There are no cash on delivery charges.  

Payment by PayPal: 
You can also pay securely and easily via PayPal. At the end of the order process you will be forwarded directly to PayPal. If you are already a PayPal customer, you can log in there with your user data and make the payment. Don't have a PayPal account yet? You can open a PayPal account or alternatively register as a guest and then confirm the payment. As soon as we confirm receipt of payment, your order will be dispatched immediately. There are no cash on delivery charges.  

Payment by instant bank transfer:  
If you do not want to disclose your account details or create a PayPal account, Sofortüberweisung is a good alternative. If you have selected Sofortüberweisung as your payment method, you will be redirected to a transfer form at the end of the order process during a multi-stage authentication procedure, on which the recipient's details and the amount have already been entered. All you need to do is enter your details and confirm the transaction with a TAN. As soon as we can confirm receipt of payment, your order will be dispatched. There are no cash on delivery charges.

Payment in advance:
Of course you can also pay in advance, but the dispatch will take a little longer, as the goods will only be dispatched once payment has been received. There are no cash on delivery charges here either.

11. contact person for complaints

Alternative dispute resolution in accordance with Art. 14 para. 1 ODR-VO and § 36 VSBG: The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS), which you can find at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are not obliged or willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.

12. sale to private individuals 

Category 1 items can be purchased in our shop all year round. Category 2 items are only available in this shop for specialist retailers and can be purchased there at the end of the year. Exceptions for special events require official authorisation. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail or telephone.

13. Authorisations 

The sale, purchase and burning of category 1 articles is authorised all year round. Private customers may purchase Category F2 fireworks only on the last three working days of the year. Use is permitted exclusively from 31 December to 1 January, although regional regulations may vary. In Berlin, fireworks may be set off from 6 p.m. on 31 December until 7 a.m. on 1 January. Outside of this period, you require special authorisation from your local public order office. We will be happy to help you with this (further information). As a trader (reseller), you do not require an extra licence to purchase category 2 items. 

No special official authorisation is required for the purchase of T1 articles. The purchaser must be 18 years of age or older. The T1 articles must be used in the context of stage, film and photo productions as well as music and show events. This use must be confirmed to us using this form.
